At SR Dental Zone, restorative dentistry is planned with long-term function, esthetics and maintainability in mind.
Qualifying crowns, veneers, bridges and other restorations may be supported by the SR Dental Zone Material-Based Warranty, subject to the terms specified in the approved treatment plan.
Our Warranty Philosophy
Successful restorative dentistry does not end when a crown, veneer or bridge is fitted. The relationship between the restoration, the supporting tooth or implant, the surrounding gums and the patient's bite continues to change over time. Regular professional review allows these factors to be monitored and potential concerns to be identified early.
Precision in treatment should be supported by precision in maintenance. Our approach is to provide treatment that is appropriate, precisely executed and designed with long-term oral health in mind.
What Does the SR Dental Zone Warranty Cover?
The SR Dental Zone Material-Based Warranty applies to qualifying restorations specified in the patient's approved treatment plan. Where applicable, it covers qualifying defects attributable to restorative materials or workmanship.
If a covered restoration develops such a problem, SR Dental Zone will clinically evaluate the restoration and determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate. The precise warranty applicable to an individual restoration, including its duration and any treatment-specific conditions, is defined in the approved treatment plan.
Warranty Duration
The warranty begins from the date of delivery of the qualifying restoration and remains applicable for the duration specified in the patient's approved treatment plan, subject to the relevant warranty and maintenance conditions. Different restorations, materials and clinical situations may carry different warranty provisions.
What Is Not Covered?
A material-based restorative warranty is different from a guarantee of biological or lifelong clinical outcome. Warranty coverage does not ordinarily extend to failure, alteration or replacement primarily resulting from:
- new dental decay, periodontal disease or deterioration of supporting teeth, gums or bone
- trauma, accidents or external injury
- rexcessive bite forces, clenching, grinding, diagnosed bruxism or ice chewing
- smoking, tobacco use or other factors that materially compromise oral health
- staining or discoloration associated with external influences rather than a material defect
- changes in the mouth, bite or surrounding tissues over time
- unrelated subsequent dental treatment affecting the restored area.
Biological Health & Restorative Warranty
An important distinction.
The SR Dental Zone Material-Based Warranty relates to qualifying restorative materials and workmanship. It does not constitute a guarantee of the future biological health of the supporting tooth, gums, bone or implant.
Continuing Professional Care
Long-term restorative success is a partnership between professional care and responsible maintenance. To maintain warranty eligibility, patients should maintain appropriate oral hygiene and attend the review, preventive maintenance, professional hygiene and radiographic appointments recommended for their clinical needs.
Where bruxism, clenching or other significant bite forces have been identified, the protective appliance or management recommended by the clinician should be followed. Clinically necessary treatment affecting the restored area should also be completed within the advised timeframe.
Maintenance intervals are individualised according to clinical need. Patients with periodontal disease, implant restorations, extensive rehabilitation or other risk factors may require more frequent professional care.
When Warranty Coverage May Not Apply
Warranty coverage may not apply when restoration failure or damage is materially associated with:
- failure to attend recommended maintenance, review, professional hygiene or radiographic appointments
- inadequate oral hygiene affecting the restoration or supporting tissues
- unmanaged bruxism, clenching or other excessive occlusal forces
- failure to use a prescribed protective appliance where clinically indicated
- smoking or tobacco-related compromise
- failure to complete clinically necessary treatment affecting the restored area
- failure to follow relevant post-treatment or maintenance instructions
- repair, adjustment or modification outside SR Dental Zone without prior clinical coordination.
Any warranty assessment should be based on the clinical circumstances of the individual case rather than on the presence of a single factor alone.
Repair or Replacement
If a qualifying restoration develops a problem during its applicable warranty period, SR Dental Zone will assess what has occurred, why it has occurred and whether the problem falls within the applicable warranty. Where a qualifying material or workmanship defect is confirmed, the restoration may be repaired or replaced depending on the clinical circumstances and the terms of the approved treatment plan.
Replacement is not automatically preferable to repair. Wherever clinically appropriate, the more conservative solution will be considered first.
Technology Supports Precision. Biology Determines Longevity.
SR Dental Zone integrates digital technology across diagnosis, treatment planning and restorative workflows where it provides meaningful clinical value. Depending on the treatment, this may include intraoral scanning, digital smile planning, CBCT-guided diagnostics and CAD/CAM restorative workflows.
Technology supports precision in planning, fit and restorative design; it does not eliminate the biological and functional variables that influence a restoration over time. Long-term success remains dependent on thoughtful treatment planning, appropriate material selection, healthy supporting tissues, controlled bite forces, good oral hygiene and continuing professional care.

Our role is to plan and deliver treatment with precision. The patient's role is to protect that treatment through appropriate home care and professional maintenance. The objective is not simply to protect a restoration - it is to preserve the health, function and esthetics of the smile around it.
Your Continuing Care
A mandatory post-treatment review should be scheduled within 72 hours of treatment completion.
Thereafter, schedule a follow-up visit at SR Dental Zone every six months for the professional care and maintenance recommended after treatment completion, unless your clinician has prescribed a different interval based on your individual needs. Patients with periodontal concerns, implant restorations or other specific risk factors may require more frequent maintenance.
